Is it selfish to cut off a family member for your own peace of mind?

Blood is supposed to mean unconditional — but nobody tells you what to do when that unconditional relationship is the thing quietly destroying you.

  1. I did before. Sometimes family can really affect your peace and mental health. Its not easy and many people will judge you because “family is family”, but they dont know everything happening behind closed doors. I think protecting yourself is not selfish, specially when you already tried to understand and stay for so long.
