Why does doing the right thing so often feel like the hardest choice?

Nobody warns you that integrity has a cost — that sometimes choosing what's right means losing something, or someone, you weren't ready to let go of.

It would be so much easier if doing the right thing felt good every time. But often it just feels like sacrifice with no guarantee of reward.

Have you ever done the right thing and regretted it — or paid a price for it that still doesn't feel fair?

  1. Yeah sometimes doing the right thing really feels heavy. You lose people, chances, or peace just because you choose what you know is right. I think many people experienced that already.

I also feel sometimes life is unfair when you do good but still end up hurting. But in the end, at least you can sleep knowing you didn’t betray yourself just to make things easier.
