Is it okay to feel exhausted by people you genuinely love?

Sometimes the people we love most are the ones who drain us completely. And then comes the guilt — because shouldn't love feel easy?

You're not alone in this. A lot of people carry this exact feeling in silence, too afraid to admit it even to themselves.

So let's talk about it. Drop your thoughts in the comments below — no judgment, no wrong answers.

  1. yeah it’s actually more common than people admit. loving someone doesn’t automatically mean you always have energy for them.

you can care about someone a lot and still feel drained sometimes, especially if you’re always the one giving or being “on.” that doesn’t mean the love is fake, it just means you’re human and you need space too.

guilt usually shows up because we think love should feel effortless, but real relationships still need boundaries and rest. taking a break doesn’t mean you care less.

you can love people and still need distance sometimes, both can be true.
