If you constantly drop everything for other people but struggle to ask for the same in return, it's usually not because you genuinely believe their problems are bigger — it's because somewhere along the way you learned that your pain had to be justified before it was allowed to matter.
Comparing your struggles to someone else's and deciding yours "aren't bad enough" is one of the loneliest things you can do to yourself.
Your problems don't need to be the worst in the room to deserve attention — they just need to be yours.
What do you think?
Your words might be exactly what someone needs to hear.
